Meet Our Executive Team

Welcome to the Executive Team page of The Sierra Leone Nationals Association of Manitoba (SALNAM). Our dedicated team is at the heart of our non-profit, non-political organization, working tirelessly to promote the rich cultural heritage of Sierra Leoneans living in Manitoba and to assist our members in seamlessly integrating into Canadian society. Together, we are committed to fostering a strong and supportive community for our fellow Sierra Leoneans.

Moe Koroma

President Moe Koroma is the 8th community president of The Sierra Leone Nationals Association of Manitoba (SALNAM). He was first elected as PRO for SALNAM in 2018 and was elected president on November 5, 2022. Before becoming SALNAM president, He volunteered in various areas in the community at a young age. He has a diverse educational background with a diploma in electronics, certificates in building automation, an associate degree in theology. He is a caring dad to two girls and one boy, and a devoted husband to his wife Tendai, who is a banker.
