DESCRIPTION:August 22\, 2026\nDear community member\,\nThe SALNAM Community
  Electoral Commission hereby announces the opening of nominations\nfor the
  upcoming SALNAM Community Election\, scheduled for Sunday\, September 13\
 , 2026\,\nfrom 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.\nThe election will be conducted in a
 ccordance with the SALNAM Community Constitution\, and all\nmembers are en
 couraged to familiarize themselves with the constitutional provisions gove
 rning the\nelectoral process.\nPositions Open for Election\nThe election w
 ill be held for the following two positions only:\n● President\n● Vice
  President\nThe elected President will subsequently form his or her cabine
 t in accordance with the SALNAM\nCommunity Constitution.\nNomination Perio
 d\nNominations will officially open on Monday\, August 24\, 2026\, and wil
 l close at 6:00 p.m. on\nSunday\, August 30\, 2026.\nAll candidates wishin
 g to contest for the position of President or Vice President must submit t
 heir\nnomination and declaration of intent to run to the Electoral Commiss
 ion before the stated deadline.\nOnly members who are fully paid-up member
 s of the SALNAM Community and who meet the\neligibility requirements estab
 lished by the Constitution will be permitted to contest.\nNo nominations w
 ill be accepted after the stated deadline.\nCampaign Period\nThe official 
 campaign period will run for two weeks\, from Monday\, August 31\, 2026\, 
 through\nSaturday\, September 12\, 2026.\nCandidates are expected to condu
 ct their campaigns in a respectful\, transparent\, and responsible\nmanner
 \, consistent with the values of the SALNAM Community and the provisions o
 f the\nConstitution.\nCandidates' Debate\nThe Electoral Commission will ho
 st a Candidates' Debate on Sunday\, September 6\, 2026.\nThe debate will p
 rovide members with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates\, 
 learn\nabout their vision and priorities\, and make informed decisions bef
 ore voting. Further details\n\nregarding the time\, venue\, and format of 
 the debate will be communicated by the Electoral\nCommission.\nElection Da
 y\nThe election will take place as follows:\nDate: Sunday\, September 13\,
  2026\nTime: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.\nAll eligible members are encouraged 
 to participate and exercise their right to vote.\nThe Electoral Commission
  calls on all candidates and members of the SALNAM Community to\nuphold th
 e principles of fairness\, unity\, transparency\, respect\, and peaceful d
 emocratic\nparticipation throughout the entire electoral process.\nMembers
  are reminded to refer to the SALNAM Community Constitution for the comple
